How long a re-roof takes
It depends on the roof size, design, access and the weather. Scaffolding goes up first, then the old covering is stripped and the new one fitted. We give an estimated timescale with every quote.
How long roofs last
Lifespan depends on the material, the quality of installation, exposure to weather and maintenance. Natural slate and clay tiles generally outlast concrete tiles, and modern flat roof systems such as EPDM and GRP usually last much longer than old felt.

Can roofs be repaired in winter?
Yes. Most repairs can be done year-round, and making a roof watertight shouldn't wait for spring. Some materials need dry or above-freezing conditions to install, so work may be planned around the weather.
